Fresca cans now claim the product is "Sparkling soda water." GTFOH. You're in the soda section with the other Coke products.

My spouse drinks Sparkling Ices, sold in the seltzer water section, and those are more soda-y to me than even Fresca. They have a Starburst line made with Splenda and it's sweeter than Coke Original. My heart was racing from the placebo sugar. Calling that seltzer, fake news.

YES, I share this complaint about the new Fresca cans / marketing -- respect your roots as a soda!

1) I'm genuinely sorry you are caught-up in the whole SI fiasco. Hopefully you find some clarity/stability/whatever else you are looking for out of your career soon.

2) This is an incredibly timely topic for me because I gave up soda for lent, but I'm afraid that you didn't really draw a clear line for me to follow.

thank you and ha, sorry not to be of more help -- define a soda with your heart, imo!

I hate LeCroix-style drinks because I feel like they're in the uncanny valley between pop and not-pop. My derogatory term for them is "homeopathic sodas".
